Just A Pair of Shoes and founder Matthew Cline, a Fairborn High School graduate, visited Fairborn Intermediate School on Tuesday. Cline’s mission is to help underprivileged children gain confidence and desire by receiving a pair of shoes. Cline was in that situation as a child and received a pair of Nike shoes. That changed his life and helped him become a better athlete. “Putting on that first pair of Nike shoes lit a fire within me that no one could extinguish. And even though I had a rough childhood growing up, I wouldn’t change the opportunity to learn the lessons I’ve taken from my childhood for anything,” he posted on his website. Matt Trimbach and Scott Trimbach from Trim’s Property Maintenance paid for the shoe distribution.
