WEST MILTON — Legacy Christian’s Caroline Hamilton opened the cross country finishing in first place at the Bob Schul Invitational on Saturday.
Hamilton ran a time of 18:45.6 to be best in the girls races by almost 22 seconds and also set a school record. Other good performances include Anna Thurman of Carroll with a 19:07 to come in second overall and Allison High of Bellbrook finishing .6 seconds later to get third. Ruby Gross of Carroll was seventh, Morgan Dalton of Bellbrook got eighth and Mandy Mark of Cedarville was 20th.
In the boys race, Carroll’s Andrew Janson ran a time of 16:49.7 to get 19th.
In the team standings, Cedarville finished third in the boys race and Legacy Christian was fifth.
