Mercurios charged with burglary following Fairborn homicide

FAIRBORN — Brandi Mercurio and Bailey Mercurio have been charged with aggravated burglary, a felony of the first degree, and trespass in a habitation when a person is present or likely to be present, a felony of the fourth degree, according to Fairborn Police, following the death of Milton Lambros III, 38, Friday, July 22.

Officers were dispatched approximately 5:13 a.m. Friday to the 2200 block of Grierson Place after they received a 911 call saying an individual had been stabbed, according to police. When officers arrived, they found Lambros deceased as well as two females inside the residence. Another male suspect was found later. Police said these three individuals were taken into custody and questioned.

Officers were also dispatched to a robbery at approximately 2:30 a.m. Friday on the 1300 block of East Dayton-Yellow Springs Road. An individual demanded money, made gestures indicated they had a gun and fled into a vehicle driven by another individual that headed south on Trebein Road, according to police.

When officers arrived to the stabbing scene on Grierson Place, they observed the robbery suspect vehicle in the driveway. According to police, Lambros was developed as a robbery suspect.

Police said the investigation is continuing and additional charges will be forthcoming.
