Enon Subway robbed

ENON — Enon Police were called to the Subway at the corner of North Enon Road and Main Street on report of a robbery at approximately 6:09 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7.

On arrival, Enon Police determined that an employee had found an unidentified white male behind the counter removing an undetermined amount of money from the open safe drawer.

The suspect is described as white male, medium build, approximately 5’ 11”, 180-to-210 pounds, wearing a green hoodie (military-type green), light blue faded jeans, dark navy blue baseball cap and dark work boots (similar to Red Wing brand).

No weapon was displayed. A Subway employee attempted to stop the suspect several times from leaving store, but on his last attempt, the suspect struck the employee in face, causing employee’s glasses to fall off his face.

The vehicle the subject fled in was described as older style, green Chevrolet pickup truck.
