Remembering Julie Overton

XENIA — Julie Overton became a genealogist almost by accident. Someone asked for information about an ancestor. Julie did some research and then took a picture of the gravestone which she forwarded to the family and became hooked on genealogy. Julie was a “doer” in every sense of the word and encouraged others to do their best. She would always say “you can do it” and was most encouraging. No matter what hour of the day you would see her, she always said “Good Morning”. She said that way she didn’t have to think of the time of day, and also delighted in the surprised facial expressions of those she greeted at 7 p.m.
