FRANKLIN 2,377, CARROLL 2,139: Christina Hauber rolled games of 183 and 209 for a team-leading 392 two-game series, Katelyn Hagstrom (323), Samantha Young (304) and Sarah Connair (303) also had solid series for Carroll, but Franklin was able to come away with Friday’s nonleague win. There were no individual scores available for Franklin.
FAIRBORN 2,101, XENIA 1,750: Sydnie Renner led the Skyhawks with a 411 two-game series while Fairborn teammates Tori Donaldson (341), Emily Bundesen (321) and Taylor Ramsey (307) also tossed strong series scores in Friday’s win over Greater Western Ohio Conference foe Xenia.
Samantha Seibel rolled a match-high 413 series with games of 222 and 191 for Xenia. Other two game series were tossed by Morgan McClain (316), Sadie Fite (310) and Kiersten Channels (217) in the loss.
FAIRBORN 2,495, XENIA 2,414: The Fairborn boys edged out Xenia in a bowling match last Friday. Michael Hicks led the Skyhaws with 472 total pins and an average of 236. Evan Adkins led Xenia with 448 pins at an average of 224.
CARROLL 2,517, FRANKLIN 2,342: The Patriots defeated the Wildcats in a bowling match Friday. Baylen Shoemaker led Carroll with 416 pins at an average of 208. Matt Boggs and Sam Yarnall were second and third on the team with 368 and 366 pins respectively.
GREENEVIEW 42, SOUTHEASTERN 25: The Lady Rams clinched the Ohio Heritage Conference Monday night with their win over Southeastern (16-4, 11-2 OHC). Alex Rice led Greeneview (19-3, 14-0 OHC) with a game-high 17 points.
GREENON 53, NEW PARIS GRAHAM 41: Taylor Burson scored a team-high 15 points while teammates Lianne Masquelier and Jenn Miller scored 12 points each in Monday’s Central Buckeye Conference win over visiting Graham. Greenon held a 24-18 lead at halftime, then outscored the Falcons 29-23 in the second half to seal the win. There were no statistics available for Graham from this game.
BELLBROOK 40, CARROLL 34: Visiting Bellbrook almost let a seven-point halftime lead slip away, but held on for Saturday’s nonleague win. Carroll outscored Bellbrook 10-6 in the third quarter to pull to within three points of the lead (30-27), but the visiting Golden Eagles outscored the Patriots 10-7 in the final quarter to claim the win. There were no individual statistics available from this game.
GREENON 44, SPRINGFIELD NORTHWESTERN 33: Brittany Kozak and Lianne Masquelier each scored a game-high 12 points, and Taylor Burson pitched in with nine, to lead the Knights to Saturday’s win. Sara Stacy led Northwestern with an 8-point effort.
XENIA CHRISTIAN 54, COLUMBUS VILLAGE ACADEMY 50: After trailing 22-21 at the break, the Xenia Christian Ambassadors outscored CVA 33-28 the rest of the way to earn Saturday’s nonleague win. Katie Riddle led Xenia Christian with a 25-point effort. There were no statistics available for Village Academy.
FAIRBORN 60, BELMONT 40: The Skyhawks topped Belmont Monday night behind solid performances from seniors Malik Jacobs and Jordan Michael. Jacobs finished the contest with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Michael had 10 points, despite not hitting a shot from outside.
ROGER BACON 71, CARROLL 54: The Patriots struggled Saturday at home and lost to Roger Bacon despite a strain outing from Xander Smart. Smart had a game-high 24 points on 13-21 from the field. Jackson Jabir added 13 points of his own. Roger Bacon had a more balanced attack, with four players scoring in double-digits.
MONROE 47, BELLBROOK 40: Coming off an emotional game against Franklin, the Golden Eagles weren’t able to hang with Monroe Saturday at home. They got off to a slow start, scoring only five points in the first quarter, and weren’t able to catch up. Josh Schumacher had 17 points for Bellbrook.
SHAWNEE 62, XENIA 59: The Bucs came up short defensively Saturday on the road, allowing Shawnee to score 26 points in the fourth quarter to take the win. Clayton Kadel had a game-high 23 points and three assists in the game, and Khyiani Harris added 10 points and seven boards. Jalen Nelson led Shawnee with 18 points.
XENIA CHRISTIAN 80, VILLAGE ACADEMY 37: Xenia Christian had a balanced attack Saturday on the road, soundly defeating Village Academy. Four players scored in double-figures for the Ambassadors in the game, including 20 points from Justin Martin and 18 points from Jordan Freeman. Freeman also had eight rebounds.
CARROLL 49, FENWICK 46: Carroll edged out Fenwick at home Friday night with a balanced scoring attack. Xander Smart had 11 points in the game and Jackson Jabir added 10 of his own. Frank Catrine scored a game-high 13 points for Fenwick.
