BEAVERCREEK — Greene County Parks & Trails will host the Audubon Christmas Bird Count with its national research and conservation project to identify local birds at several park locations on Saturday, Dec. 21.


Participants will meet at 9 a.m. Narrows Reserve Nature Center, 2575 Indian Ripple Road; 1 p.m. Indian Mound Reserve, 2750 42 E, Cedarville and 1 p.m. Creekside Reserve, park at the Girl Scout Memorial Park, 800 Factory Road.


Participants—-who do not have to be an expert at identifying birds — will gather information that will be part of the National Audubon Winter Bird Research. Binoculars are needed with some available for loan from the park agency. The event is free with donations accepted; open to the public.
