CLIFTON — The Greene Community Health Foundation’s annual “Adopt-a-Healthy Duck” campaign is underway. Proceeds from the campaign will benefit the Greene Community Health Foundation, which provides health and wellness support to families in need throughout Greene County.


Racing ducks are available for adoption for $5 each and can be adopted at the health district located at 360 Wilson Drive in Xenia. Ducks will race across the pond at Clifton Mill at 2 p.m. Aug. 30. Prizes on for top race finishers include: First place: $500 cash, Second place: $200 prepaid Visa gift card, Third place: portable gas grill, Fourth place: $100 gift certificate to Dick’s Sporting Goods, Fifth place: $50 gift certificate to Clifton Mill.


There is an additional opportunity to support the campaign by purchasing paper ducks for $1 each. These ducks can be purchased at various local establishments including banks, credit unions, restaurants and libraries, as well as at the health district.
