WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE – The Air Force Marathon 5K has sold out 6 weeks earlier than last year and the half marathon has less than 500 slots remaining.
“We are so excited to see how fast the races are selling out,” said Rob Aguiar, race director. “The 10K already sold out seven weeks earlier than last year.”
The 5K sold out on April 2, when the price increased. The half marathon is expected to sell out soon as well. The full marathon is about 65 percent full.
“Anyone interested in running the half marathon should register immediately,” he added, “We always get phone calls from people who want into a race after we close-out.”
Prices for the full and half marathons are currently $95 and $80 respectively.
