XENIA —The Greene County Commissioners announced Thursday that they could not reach a mutually agreeable term with their choice for new administrator Warren Brown.
“The Greene County Commissioners area deeply disappointed that we could not reach mutually agreeable terms with Mr. Warren Brown for the job of Greene County Administrator,” said the commissioners in a statement they issued Thursday afternoon. “We wish him well in his future endeavors.”
Warren Brown accepted the position of Greene County Administrator last week.
Brown, currently the administrator in Sandusky County, will begin on April 1, 2014 and will work at a salary of $115,000 annually.
Brown would have replaced long-time Greene County Administrator Howard Poston, who is retiring on Feb. 28. Huddleson, also the director of county services, will fill in until Brown arrives.
