BELLBROOK — Campers in the Greene County Parks & Trails’ (GCP&T) Watercraft 101 Camp learned how to canoe and learned about boating safety, life jackets, emergency responses, boating laws and more. Watercraft 101 was a weeklong camp held at Spring Lakes Park in Bellbrook.

The program was funded in part by a grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Watercraft and was taught by GCP&T Staff Naturalist Ashlee Schmitt, who is a certified watercraft instructor.
