CLARK COUNTY – The old Hertzler House at George Rogers Clark Park will offer a historical haunting 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17. The walk through costs $10 per person, but children under 6 years old are free. Attendees can tour the haunted Hertzler House and then take a hayride through the park with haunted spirits seen along the darkened path. Last walk through begins 10:30 p.m. The hayride will end at the barn where attendees can enjoy refreshments near a bonfire to warm their bones. The Clark County Park District suggests dressing warmly for the hayride and the October weather. Funds go to support the Clark County Park District and upkeep of the historical 1850’s home.
