CEDARVILLE — The Cedarville Parish Nurses and the Cedarville Senior Center will be hosting a free 5-part seminar regarding important family planning topics beginning Saturday, March 11.

The programs run weekly 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Cedar Cliff Schools on Main Street in Cedarville. Program Coordinators are; Laureene Bollinger, R.N., a retired registered nurse for 44 years service with emphasis on critical care and hospice nursing, Connie King, R.N. a retired hospice nurse and Sharon Christman, Cedarville University nursing professor.

The team is bringing five professional speakers who can answer questions or point you in the right direction for further information.

The topics for each week are:

March 11 — Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail

Discussing financial wills, power of attorney, advanced directives, and estate planning with attorney Judy LaMusga.

March 18 — It’s Always Too Soon Until It’s Too Late

Discussing living at home, alternative choices, and supportive services with Mary Ann Stemley, certified Hospice/palliative care nurse.

March 25 — Final Planning: Leaving the Legacy

Discussing end of life transition, funeral planning, honoring your veteran, and organ and body donation with Thomas A. Routsong, Routsong Funeral Home.

April 1 — Conversations That Light the Way

Discussing who, when, where, and how to communicate end-of-life wishes with Lisa Balster.

April 8 — Compassionate Care: A New Paradigm

Discussing getting the care you want, end-of-life care, and pallative-Hospice care with Dr. Cleanne Cass.
