FAIRBORN — A Dayton man is in the Greene County Jail after being charged with two counts of rape and two counts of sexual battery of a 17-year-old female.

Steven A. Blackson, 39, of Irwin St., pleaded not guilty to the sex crimes and remains held on $100,000 bond. The alleged incident occurred between Jan. 1, 2011 and Sept. 19, 2015 and was reported October 2016, according to the Fairborn police report. Blackson was booked into the jail Jan. 6, 2017, according to records.

The rape charges are first-degree felonies, while the sexual battery charges are third-degree felonies. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, March 14, followed by the final pre-trial hearing Thursday, March 30. A jury trial is set to begin Monday May, 22 in front of Judge Stephen Wolaver, according to court records.
