ABC & Me Story Time for ages 3-6, 1-1:45 p.m. Monday, May 9, 16, 23.

Toddler Story Time for ages 2-3 with adult, 10:30-11 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31.

Preschool Story Time for ages 4-5, 10:30-11 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31.

Early Bookworm Readers for grades K-3, 6-6:45 p.m. May 3. Build reading skills by joining library staff for a book discussion and activity. Ask staff for this month’s title.

Slow Healing Flow, 6:30-7:15 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 11. Carmen Milano presents a gentle yoga series with healing stretching for adults of all ages and fitness levels. Registration required.

Star Wars Crafts, 4-5 p.m. Wednesday, May 4. May the force be with you. Celebrate Star Wars Day by making themed crafts.

Book Tasting, 12-1 p.m. Thursday, May 5. Bring a lunch and a favorite book or two. Have lunch together and talk about what we’re reading.

Gaming and Pizza for ages 10-18, 4-5 p.m. Thurday, May 5. The library has games and pizza. Bring your friends and be prepared to play.

Baby Story Time for ages 6-24 months with adult, 10:30-11 a.m. Friday, May 6, 13, 20, 27.

I Spy, 4-4:45 p.m. Monday, May 9. Work on I Spy, Where’s Waldo, and other search and find puzzles, then create one of your own.

LEGO Building Challenge, 4-4:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 11. Can you build a LEGO bridge strong enough to hold 10 library books? Can you make a LEGO tower as tall as you? Can you build a LEGO house in just 5 minutes? Join us for a variety of fun and exciting building challenges.

Stress Buster for ages 10-18, 4-5 p.m. Thursday, May 12. Advanced coloring pages, Playdough, snacks. Take a break from studying and relax with friends.

Xenia Book Club, 10:15-11:45 a.m. Friday, May 13. Join a friendly book discussion. Everyone is welcome.

Basket Making Class for adults, 4-6:45 p.m. Monday, May 16 and 4-6:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 18. Make a beautiful May basket to take home with you. Registration required.

Ready, Set, Draw! ages 8 and up, 4-4:46 p.m.Tuesday, May 17. Follow easy step-by-step directions and learn to draw. Check with the children’s department staff to find out what we’ll be drawing this month.

Xenia Mystery Book Club for Adults, 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17. Join the library for a friendly book discussion of a great mystery. Check at the Reference Desk for this month’s selection.

Art Challenge: Watercolors for ages 10-18, 4-5 p.m. Thursday, May 19. Make a painting with watercolors. Paint something realistic or abstract. No art experience needed.

“You made this out of what?” Card Class for Adults, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, May 23. Walk away with beautiful stamped cards that have people asking, “You made this out of what?” Registration required.

Coloring Party, Wednesday, May 25. Drop in and color. All day long, we’ll have crayons, colored pencils, markers, coloring books, and giant coloring sheets for you to enjoy.

Chain Reactions, 4-5 p.m. Thursday, May 26. Weave craft sticks together and watch the explosive results. If you enjoy knocking down dominos, try this.
