FAIRBORN — Three men were arrested on felony charges after allegedly robbing a local business Tuesday.

At approximately 8:52 p.m. March 25, Fairborn police were dispatched to the Dollar General at 266 East Dayton-Yellow Springs Road on the report of a robbery that had just occurred.

“The employees advised that the suspects forced them back into the store and one suspect indicated he had a gun,” said Sgt. Mark Stannard. “The suspects forced the employees to empty the registers and stole cigarettes.”

The suspects then fled the scene on foot. The Dayton Police K-9 unit successfully tracked the suspects to a nearby apartment where officers located the stolen money, cigarettes, and other evidence from the crime.

Three male suspects were taken into custody and formally charged.

Bryce G. Bentley, 18, of Yellow Springs and Keenan J. Watson, 18, of Dayton, were charged with aggravated robbery and two counts of kidnapping.

Donzel D. Lewis, 19, of Fairborn, was charged with complicity to aggravated robbery and two counts of complicity to kidnapping.
