JAMESTOWN —Four men remain in Greene County Jail on felony charges of aggravated burglary in connection with a home invasion.

A 17-year-old was also in custody after the Thursday incident in the Shawnee Lake subdivision.

According to Greene County Sheriff’s Det. Chris Moore, the five individuals forced their way into the home and “held the occupants in there at gunpoint while items from the home were taken.”

The five are accused of taking electronic devices and other property.

Mavrick Price, 20; Singleton Matthew Sweeney, 19; Kendric Bailey, 18; and Daveon Cortez Black, 18 are being held on $50,085 bonds, according to jail records. They were arrested without incident in an apartment on West Second Street in Xenia.

“Through investigative leads, we were able to come up with a suspect and from that, the case grew,” Moore said. “The other suspects were formulated. We were able to make an arrest on the same day.”

Moore said officers were able to recover the stolen property and weapons after searching the apartment.

One of the residents sustained minor injuries during the invasion, Moore said.
