BEAVERCREEK — The Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 47th Annual Community Award Winners. Award Winners were announced on Friday, Jan. 31 at the annual banquet which was held at the Hilton Garden Inn.
The 47th Annual Award Winners: Beavercreek City Employee of the Year Award - Rich Weaver; Beavercreek City Schools Public Education Award - Jennifer M. Schmidt; Greene County Career Center Friend of Education Award - Richard Weis; Beavercreek Chamber Past Board Chair - Kathleen Young; Outstanding Young Person of the Year - Sydney Copeland; Women Owned Business of the Year - Puzzles Plus – Teresa Walter & Angela Gazzerro; Young Professional of the Year - Cory Miller; Gussie Jones Civic Award - Phillips Companies; E.G. Shaw Award - Candy Prystaloski.
This annual event recognized this year’s Community Award Recipients who we honor for their commitment and dedication to the Beavercreek Community. The Beavercreek Chamber also took a moment to recap its 2013 successes, perform the passing of the gavel ceremony to the new Board Chair and recognized current Board Members. The event was a great success with a record number of attendees this year, with approximately 230 in attendance.
